designer says...

"down your house" is a story about a shelter that can be found deep in your concious. It is a very much peaceful place, and the sky will always be clear.

I really like this one. What is that, like a big ball they are pushing? I like it on the black with the clouds there.

Can you explain a little the process behind this design? I like the style of the kids, but I want to know what's going on...

I'm lovin this one! To me, all the things the kids are doing represents innocence and the ability to "play" in God's house. Is that what you were going for?

What's the big ball thing? I'd like to know also, am I missing something?

CindysGraphics, you are not missing anything.
It's just a ball, part of the silhouette.

I really like this one too. The graphic is really simple and streamlined, but I think it looks very finished and neat. I also like the idea of the children in what looks church windows. Another reminder that in God's eyes we will always be his children!

Go dark. The greater the contrast the better it reads. I like the comment about clouds on the dark shirt (although I think it's just the wrinkles of the garment) - might be a nice revision to add some clouds in gray.
Nice work.

Nice job on this one...I'm liking it a lot! But I do say light on the shirt color. Less contrast would look a lot better in my opinion.

I love it! This reminded me of the cartoon Peter Pan, which is great, cause it made me think of Neverland, which in reality is just a presentation of heaven...or so I think so. Anywho, great shirt. I would wear it.

Yes, gray with clouds. On my desktops large monitor, I can see the wrinkles make the clouds, but on my laptop, it's clouds, and it's much more alive. Love it.

Thanks everyone for the kind words!
Cindy since you have mentioned it, I played around with the bakground, added a little something to make it more poetic. Maybe less creepy.

First one was the one with something added to the background. The second one came with inverted color, so completely different vibe. The third one with ligth cheerful color.

I love the revisions with the trees and birds, however, I still can handle just having the kids because I like that they become the focal point in the design when the trees and birds aren't there. I think that was the original intent of the design to begin with. I love that the church "windows" are so high and yet the children are playfully down low. With all the elements (birds, trees, children), I think it all ends of blending together as one element—not necessarily a bad thing, just maybe more of an emphasis on broader concepts like 'freedom', 'childlikeness', 'simple faith (like a child)', etc. Either way, I'm buying this so Garth—you tell your guys to push for this. :)
