TALK — blah, blah
Now, not being a great drawer myself, I really depend on textures and elements that other people have made and released for public domain, but there's a difference between using them and customizing them in unique ways to fit into your design, and blatantly using them AS IS without ever changing anything and just slapping some text over it.
I'm not trying to bash your design in anyway, I'm just simply trying to call Christian designers to a higher way of designing so that we aren't just copying what everyone else has already done.
By the way, here's the link if you want to download these textures yourself.

Good catch emosamurai! I thought this looked familiar. I know AJ personally and I don't think he would appreciate that he gave something away for free for people to use to create something new, and you did nothing but take it and put text over it.

first of all, yes it does use that resource, but it isn't just 'text over top' there is quite alot in there. and its not the same, its been modified alot, the colors are all over the place for one, and there is a other stuff in the middle. I haven't broken all copyright stuff on this, he gave it away free to use, I even voted on his shirt, which is amazing i must say. (link is on the vecteezy page). its not the same file, i tool the artwork, and then added it to the design i already done, as it fitted nicely with it.
feel free to ask aj if he thinks its ok, then let me know jono(a)finenoises.com and ill more then happily ask rediswhite to take it off if he does not approve.

sorry, i meant any copyright stuff, not all. ;)

Dude, it's ok to be critiqued and not feel like you have to defend. Like I said, I wasn't bashing your design, I was just speaking on how similar it looked to the resource and how we as Christians tend to be viewed as non-creative.
I am just a guy on the Internet who has an opinion, you'll find a lot of those as you submit your artwork to the masses, so just take what people say and learn from it.
Don't defend, because no one is attacking.

The colors are beautiful and a stunning shirt but the heart kind of doesn't fit. maybe try a more cartoon type heart (standard V type shape) and distress it. Maybe use some waves/lines coming out of it to signify the flowing... With the heart the way it is now it kind of clashes. It's like scientific journal meets space nebula. Just doesnt work. Get a more iconic heart symbol. Do that and I'm ready to buy!!! the colors and fonts are awesome.

hey thanks, since its already on here, i cant change it.
but yea, the heart is a small message, not the main point.
@emosamurai, i was not so much defending against your opinion but faithbydesign
as i didn't just put 'text over top'
yea and i agree we do need to be more creative, and im still got a lot to learn, so for now i enhance my designs with awesome stuff other people have done, and AJ is sweet with using his artwork, which is cool as its an amazing resources.
thanks heaps tho emosamurai! :)

I see it as just a mass of incoherent color. Perhaps if the words were easier to read...
